While more widely known for her role as an actress, singer and songwriter Alicia Witt has been performing music since her earliest days onscreen. In 2009, after primarily working as a piano player the singer released her own album that highlighted Alicia Witt's obvious due to Elton John, Billy Joel and many others, accompanied by an enthralling, powerful voice. Revisionary History by Ben Folds was her first album of her studio work from 2015 was made available. The Conduit is her second release in 2021, marking her first time as a producer. Alicia Witt first appeared onscreen in 1984 when she played Alia Atreides in David Lynch's adaptation Frank Herbert's Dune. Although she was only ten when she first appeared on screen It's not a surprise that she got pigeonholed for being an actor and not a singer, in spite of being a pianist since the moment when she started acting. Although she was onscreen more, her career as a musician did not begin until 1995.
